Illinois Eviction Moratorium Extended Through October 3, 2021

On Friday, September 17, 2021, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker said he would extend the statewide pause on eviction enforcement as Covid-19 cases linked to the delta variant continue to climb. State protections originally set to phase out on September 18 will now continue through Oct. 3.
