APRIL IS FAIR HOUSING MONTH

Northside Community Services is celebrating Fair Housing Month, even in these difficult times. Fair Housing is the right for all people to live where they choose, rent or buy housing, and enjoy the full use of their homes without unlawful discrimination. We celebrate the passage of the federal Fair Housing Act in April 1968, just days after the assassination of one of its key supporters, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Please contact us at (773) 338-7722 Ext. 16 or via email at: tabitha@northsidecr.org if you believe you have experienced discrimination based on race, disability, national origin, family status, gender, religion, criminal history, or source of income, including Housing Choice Voucher.  And, please join us to promote the elimination of discrimination and segregation and equal opportunity for all in Chicago!
